Stories for those lost at sea.

Claudio Silvano remembers being in the womb.
At fourteen, he became the universe for a few seconds.
Is it any wonder he writes fantasy?

What he Writes

Claudio writes fantasy that takes its time — stories that are more interested in questions than answers, and more concerned with orientation than certainty.

His work sits at the edge of the genre, more focussed on the quieter questions than with spectacle: who are we beyond these perishable bodies and identities? What is truly ours to claim, and what has never been?Forthcoming:
A Hundred Days in Surmur is a novel of grief and creation.
Some writers lose themselves in their work. Alder definitely lost himself in his, but the world he created was not born so much from inspiration as from grief..
I am also the author of
The DESTINY OF FIRE trilogy:
Illiom, Daughter of Prophecy
Keys of Awakening
Into Forbidden Lands
The Tree at World's End, a fantasy anthology
In Between, a standalone fantasy novella
Home of the Wind, an autobiographical novella

Claudio lives in Nannup, a quaint little town three hours south of Perth, Western Australia, with his wife Sa, a great number of birds from the lake behind his backyard, and an inconceivable number of frogs that sing long into the night.
